OVERVIEW:
Responsible for providing technical support to end-users of Computer/POS systems
Full-Time position.
Salary $43,000
Weekend oncalls $350 per weekend
Medical Insurance coverage
Year-end performance based bonus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Phone/Internet based technical support of Computer/POS (Point of Sale) systems from our office including providing support to customers, troubleshooting of network, all-in-one computers, receipt printers, Aldelo software, reporting, etc
• Provide training for restaurant owners, staff.
• Smart Data Entry: Program the restaurants’ menus into Aldelo program
• Limited Outcalls to customer locations: perform POS installations in the restaurants including setup, network configuration, receipt printer installation, Aldelo Program configuration, training
• Variety of tasks around the office including but not limited to preparing POS systems for installations, repairing systems, etc
• Being oncall at home weekday a week
• Being oncall at home every 4th weekend. This be compensated additional for $350 per weekend
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong computer knowledge including computer Hardware, Windows XP, Networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, Ping, etc)
• Basic knowledge of variety of computer programs: MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
• Ability to patiently and politely troubleshoot problems with end-user.
• Ability to learn fast
• No knowledge of Aldelo software required. Training will be provided.
• Must be a team player
• Strong focus on accuracy and ability to work with detail
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment handling multiple tasks
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Legal status in US is required
• English/Russian speaking
• Ability to work weekends. Ability to work flexible schedules. First 3-5 months working hours will be 11am to 7pm Monday through Friday. After training is completed working hours will be 11am to 7pm Sunday and 2pm to 10pm Monday through Thursday. As the company grows working hours may change. Since the company is providing 24/7/365 support it may be required to take a 4 day 10 hr a day shift including night time. Night shifts will be rotating and could be 1 month every 6 months or similar. Candidate must be open-minded and flexible about schedule.
EXPERIENCE
• Prior experience in computer repair, network troubleshooting is required
• Experience in telephone computer support preferred but not required.
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s Degree
